This Privacy Policy explains how Rayalaseema Rice ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Rayalaseema Rice mobile app.
We collect your name, mobile number, email address, delivery addresses, and order history to provide and improve our service. Payment details (card, UPI, net banking) are handled directly and securely by Razorpay, our payment processor — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
When you pin a delivery address, we collect your precise device location (with your permission) to place an accurate map pin for that address and to help our delivery partners navigate to you. Location is only accessed when you actively use the pinning feature — we do not track your location in the background or at any other time.
Your information is used to process orders, provide delivery updates, offer customer support, and occasionally share relevant offers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Delivery partners and our order-fulfillment team can see the name, delivery address, and phone number needed to complete your delivery.
We share the minimum information necessary with: Razorpay (payment processing) and our cloud database provider, Supabase (secure storage of account, order, and address data). These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own privacy and security obligations.
Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure with encrypted communication between the app and our servers. Access to customer data is restricted based on role (customer, delivery partner, admin).
You can update or delete your saved addresses and profile information at any time from within the app. To request full account and data deletion, contact us using the details below.
Rayalaseema Rice is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
